I've bought two of these and we're happy with them. However, one of them has a seam on the countertop that doesn't match and is sticking out. Since we cover them with white lace vinyl doilies, this is in no way a deal breaker. We tried them with snaps on the pads, but they seemed too high and wobbly for us. We like them both much better without pads and would like them to come with or without pads for those of us who want a more stable platform. I really like the side handles and the raised edges on three sides minimize the possibility of spills. I was a bit concerned that the front edge would be awkward when using this tray to hold a book, notepad or whatever, but it's nicely rounded at the top and just right. I think these trays will last us a lifetime and easily tuck away flat with one edge on the rug between the chair and end table. highlighted.
