High quality leather, no cheap parts.

I always like to decorate my fanny packs, so I removed my pins from my old one to put them in this one. The old one was so thin I had no trouble getting pins in. This was a bonafide workout. My hands actually ache from the effort to pierce through the leather and lining. That's definitely a sign of high quality leather. The zippers are sturdy and as good as the ones I've bought for sewing projects. The lining is thick. The snap is working great. The straps are high quality like the kind used on car seats. The clips are heavy plastic. It weighs about twice as much as my old fanny pack. There are fewer seams than others too. No pleather trim to fall apart. I'm quite impressed and as a seamstress that's saying something. And yes, it smells, but that's because it's LEATHER. Leather should smell. I'm so glad I picked this one over others I saw. I can't imagine that most use such soft, supple, yet sturdy leather.Overall, a tremendous upgrade from my old one.
