I bought this mount for my Google Wifi mesh router (first generation model). I mounted it on the wall and not on the ceiling because I don't have a ceiling outlet for it. I really like this attachment idea, but I think it could be improved. I've seen the following issues and suggest fixing them when planning the next model: 1. I've found that there isn't an easy way to hide the cable in the mount. I had to wrap it in the mount very carefully, and I had to do it carefully so the wire wasn't too thick for me to close the mount. I repeated this about 4 times, before I could close the bracket properly. I have a similar mount for Google Home Mini smart speakers, and this mount allowed me to more easily wrap the wire around it before closing it. This feature makes it easy to hide the long speaker power cable. I suggest this wifi router bracket has the same function.2. This bracket was definitely designed for ceiling mounting because when wall mounting I could never get the G logo to get right no matter how I positioned the router point, it always stayed upside down when wall mounting. This is because there is only one way to pull the cable down from the mount. Aside from the two issues above, I found the mount to be very simple and easy to install. It just had to be screwed to the wall. I suggest this wifi router bracket has the same function.2.
