I used a smaller and more expensive flash on my drones. It wasn't as bright or as efficient as this VIJIM Ulanzi Speedlight. The brightness is the first thing that struck me. This little guy is BRIGHT. Almost blinding if you get too close. it's upstairs Well that makes this lens a little better than some of the others, the lens has some SIDE LIGHTS that make the flash visible from the side instead of blinding like it is from above. But bright enough to be seen at night, from the side and even from below. It's something the other guys didn't even think about. Your headlights are only visible directly above the headlight. Very important: These headlights meet FAA requirements for collision avoidance safety lighting! Mounting options follow. Like most, this one is attached with Velcro. It comes with a velcro already attached and two patches on the other side for you to use anywhere you want. BUT, it's also designed to be attached with rubber bands! It even comes with a few little ones like you would use on one of the rotor arms. However, you can use larger bands to wrap it around other parts, such as B. smaller drones to attach. You can actually connect two strobe lights, one on top and one on the bottom with strips. Next, different colors. Instead of buying multiple flashes for the multiple colors you may need, you now have one flash that produces THREE different colors. Then blink frequency. You can switch from a quick flash to a regular flash (more common on airplanes). costs finally. At $25, this is the lightest, brightest, smallest, most visible, and most versatile drone flash I've found. I LOVE flying drones. And I have quite a large fleet of VERY expensive planes. So it's great that I have a set of strobe lights (four now) that I can use to move from bird to bird knowing that I and every other aircraft in the sky can spot my drones from any safe distance.
