To my delight another reviewer was right saying they fit a 38 inch waist. I don't think they will fit someone much taller (maybe up to 40 inches?) due to the tension being taken from the clasps that close them, but they will definitely fit smaller people as well. As I am in the process of losing weight it is good to know that these belts are not a waste of money and will fit me even if I lose weight. They were a beautiful, youthful complement to whatever dresses and skirts I tried them with. I ordered a burgundy and navy combo pack and the color was the same as in their photos individually (so nice and dark) not like the washed out and faded picture of them together.
