They shine in a way you won't believe. I have no idea how to compare their energy efficiency because I don't break down my electricity usage like I do from an energy supplier, but they don't get hot like my other lightbulbs. What is super rad, right? Value is putting it mildly. They are great caricatures. Big as a Great Out Doors Steak. But for longevity I have to be honest and say no. You sneeze on these things and they break. I was filming a cooking story and my finger touched the glass like a mother's ginger touch to her child and it shattered. Luckily it was just a lightbulb, not a child, but God. So 0 stars out of 5, but anything else is a winner. I will actually be ordering them again and putting up DO NOT TOUCH signs.
