This is a fantastic table! I wouldn't call it an edge table due to the smaller tabletop, but I definitely think it's perfect as a side table. Assembly was easy and the instructions are very clear. The finishes and shades of the table are beautiful! It will look equally good in both country and industrial styles. The finish is a slightly aged taupe, not too brown or grey. More of a nice taupe. There are streaks in the "wood grain" that really bring out the overall effect. The materials are very durable and well made. The table itself is sufficiently studied, but with little effort it can tip over if, for example, someone knocks on it. I wish the base was wider. The feet are covered with felt to minimize floor scratches and prevent slipping on the carpet too easily. I'm hesitating in my assessment of the price. This table is by no means worth the high price that is asked for it. I would pay about $50 for it, but no more. Nice but too small to cost that much.
