I love these! My grandmother always had them and I always thought they were a bit silly. As an adult, I now understand how comfortable they are. I've been looking for a way to reduce the amount of plastic waste in our home and this has hit the spot. Yes, they are plastic, but they last a very long time (grandmother has the same set of 20 for 10 years). This makes plastic wrap almost superfluous. I still use it for cakes and large pans and I recommend Chicwrap for that! Chicwrap Sunflower Refillable Plastic Foil Dispenser/Slide Cutter and 250 feet of professional grade BPA-free plastic wrap. This is seriously life changing. No, they don't match the cymbals, but I guess I didn't expect that since I've used them before. I use them to cover bowls as this allows food to go straight from the bowl into the microwave instead of being transferred from the bowl to a microwaveable product. They also go well with a salad, especially if you put a piece of kitchen paper on top. As for cleaning - I wash in the sink but I think you could put them on the top shelf as well.
