I got this for two reasons: First, I'm a teacher in a large class with a microphone and I needed something I could use to move around the classroom and still use the microphone. It seems to be working well and I can step back and keep in touch. Second, I shoot videos and give interviews with a remote microphone. I often use a wired microphone, but a few times people have tripped over the cable and almost smashed my expensive camera. It's much safer in busy areas. There are other devices out there but I chose this one because it is a small device. The sound quality was good and the volume could be adjusted. It also has all the adapters I need to connect to my class, camera input and smartphone for quick "interviews on the go". I hope that one day the manufacturer spends more time correcting the grammar in the instructions, but I was able to figure it out from the instructions and pictures.
