Large, softest faux leather

The faux leather on this large backpack is the softest I've ever seen. It's so soft and chunky, yet feels sturdy and well-made. I have a 2 year old and was able to pack everything I needed for her and I for a short walk. Pink has a lavender hue. I'm taking off a star because the lace isn't twisted, I have to tie it. The magnet intended for the main compartment does not remain closed. It's not a problem for me and I like it enough to get a different color. I wonder if they are all as soft as pink.
