PROS:- I like that it doesn't use batteries, it stays plugged in.- It also has enough built-in batteries if you install it and then unplug to take it to another place in the room or house, it saves the time/alarms. It has a variety of options for white/brown/pink noise, lullabies and nature sounds (thanks to my bladder few have sparkling water) White Night Light - It has two alarms so you can set one, both or not is a lock function (bottom button and + to lock, bottom button and - to unlock). Children cannot change settings in lockdown mode. CONS: - It needs to stay connected to the network. Some will consider this a downside, this mom is fed up with alarm clocks and toys that eat batteries so I like it. - It is VERY easy to change. alarm clock or time random. - Using the lock function prevents children from accidentally changing the time or alarm, but also prevents them from using part of the sound machine. - You cannot adjust the alarm volume. But during the game it gets louder and louder. So if like me you need a LOUD alarm, set it a few minutes earlier so it's loud enough to wake you up when you need to get up. All in all, this is a good alarm clock! And a night light. And a sound machine. But it's better for older kids because it's so easy to change the time. It was perfect for my 10 year old.
