Short and so transparent that you can read a book in it. I definitely expected light cotton to show shapes and shadows, but that shows it all. I bought this as a nightgown for our daughter but only allowed her to wear it with a tank top and shorts. Luckily I ordered another nightgown of the right length and thickness which was only $9 with change.
