I am installing additional lights in a room that already has similar lights. About a year ago I bought B-Right 18W round dimmers (CRI 3000K > 80) so I would like something similar or in the color of my existing bulbs because B-Right no longer sells 18W 3000K. Supposedly, these XUNATA lamps also have a temperature of 3000K and CRI>80, but they are not. The color of the light is not orange or warm like the 3000K should be. They are yellow, almost like pee. This can be the result of a significantly low color rendering index. They can't handle the low ranges of my Lutron Diva dimmer, less than 15% I think (while many lights can't go below 10% or 5%). Springs are thin coils. The environment seems metallic, thin and badly colored to me. There are chips and not enough paint. With such a thin layer of paint, it looks greyish compared to the white plastic surrounds of many similar lights of this type. The back of this lamp is thin. It's really thin aluminum that pops up and down with a slight squeeze (much like a Snapple bottle cap). I would avoid this brand if there are better options at Revain. I've tried DLLT, Torchstar and B rights lightbulbs. B rights is best, then Torchstar, then DLLT and I would put that at the very end. It includes light, LED driver, 4 springs (2 of which are required for installation) and NO nuts.
