Traditional straps with holes are fine, but they rarely tighten exactly where you want them. Of course they are limited by the location of the holes. This ratchet strap allowed me to adapt perfectly to the occasion. What I mean? Now, when I go to a hodgepodge and overfill my plate (and therefore my tummy), I can easily (and discreetly) adjust my belt just enough to accommodate more of the food that arrives. Or I usually take some off in the morning so I can pull it tighter. I can adjust the belt endlessly! Another additional advantage is the absence of holes, which lengthen and wear out over time. This belt is well made, looks good and should last a long time.
