Review on ๐ŸŽฎ ProCase Nintendo Switch Case Flip Cover with 2 Pack Tempered Glass Screen Protectors: Ultimate Protection for Nintendo Switch 2017 - Black by Brandon Grzankowski

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastically slim Switch case perfect for everyday use at home (with cautions below)

This is probably the thinnest full coverage switch case I've come across. It is very similar in concept and construction to the Nintendo Flip Cover for Switch Lite, but has several advantages over this case. First, it fits the full Switch almost perfectly, and comes in two pieces: a flexible TPU main body that covers the back and sides of the Switch and has perfectly aligned cutouts to allow access to all of the Switch's buttons, a play buggy cover, air vents and a USB-C port (almost the same as in a regular smartphone case); then there is a part of the flip cover that is very similar to the material that the Nintendo Switch Lite flip cover is made of, but with one big difference โ€“ it is attached with a magnet so it can be easily removed, similar to a The smart cover of the iPad. The case itself is generally easy to remove, but is a little stiff so it's not as easy to remove as a silicone case, but it's doable. I only see three disadvantages with this case: The most important one is that you can't use the Nintendo Dock with the case. You can overcome this hurdle by purchasing a dock extender that allows you to use the dock by plugging the extension cord into the Switch while it's in the case. The second downside is that although the flip cover is attached with a magnet at the back and is usually quite strong, it doesn't snap firmly in place at the front. It snaps in place quite a bit, but you should be aware that if you drop the Switch in this case, there's a chance the flip cover will pop open and the Switch could be damaged if it lands on the front (although the back of the case seems sturdy enough to withstand accidental bumps and probably a small, non-catastrophic drop). The third downside is that if you frequently play games like Ring Fit Adventure, Fitness Boxing, or any other game that requires you to detach your Joy-Cons, you'll have to pull your Switch out of the back. a business; doable, but if you do this often it's another step to take and can be annoying depending on how often you use that usage profile. As already mentioned, the included screen protectors are too small. I've had good screen protectors before, so I'm just reviewing this case on its merits, but be aware that you could spend a little more money to get decent tempered glass screen protectors and ignore the ones with this cover. because they are not enough. All in all, this is the perfect case for everyday use of the Switch. For more comprehensive and intense travel protection, one of these large zippered bags is the best option, but this bag is great if you're just staying at home; You can just pick up the switch, flip (or remove) the cover and go. And when you're done, just snap the lid back on. And it fits easily in your pocket, just make sure you latch it tightly so the lid doesn't open in your pocket. I'd say it's the most comfortable everyday case out there right now, and paired with a dock extender you really can't go wrong.
