So I read a lot of reviews about this pillow arriving with a huge flat spot and not thick and all thin. Well when my pillow arrived and I took it out of its nice plastic carrying case (which is in the part where the pillow was sealed with a plastic seal for extra protection) the pillow had a flat spot with no foam and it was very thin. what do you expect?! 1. It was folded tightly 2. This is cut foam, not hard memory foam 3. Memory foam is heavy! GOOD good news, all of this can be fixed quickly and easily. Lift it up at one end and shake off all the foam on the other side, make it bulky and dense2. Place it on a flat surface and spread the foam over the pillow3. The pillow might still be flimsy (I had one) but it helps to disperse it a bit4. Put it in the dryer for 35 minutes on medium heat or whatever you like best (I used the dryer for best smell as I don't have a front load washing machine to wash) and let it sit for 1 hour. cool down a bit. When I took it out, the body pillow was big and thick, and the weight was perfectly distributed so there were no weaknesses or voids when lifting. This is a very comfortable, perfect body pillow no matter how I'm 5" 4,133 lbs and it's too big and clumsy for me, that's why I didn't give 4 stars.
