Tables are cheap but very beautiful. The coffee table is bigger than I thought. I measured it but because it's curved it's hard to tell. I was positively surprised. Perfect for my living room. I want my sofa and chairs to stand out. I didn't want big bulky end tables and coffee tables. It was a cake that required assembly. My 12 year old put the edge tables together in minutes. We put our cups on it and we have no traces. From the top they are not wooden but have a light protective coating. I love the whole set.
