My granddaughter saw a mermaid tail in the shop that she wanted. It was expensive, small and not of very good quality. She was disappointed that we wouldn't buy it for her. This is a high quality material, soft and can be used as a lightweight blanket. Compared to others, this is more comfortable to wear all year round as it is not as heavy as knitted ones. Sequins are such that they do not crumble. This is a Disney product signed by Ariel. Although she cannot read yet, she will appreciate it in the future. The colors match those of Ariel in The Little Mermaid. I have read many rave reviews about similar things from this company. I bought a t-shirt with a seashell on the front to wear with her. Now she can really feel like a mermaid.
