We are going on a trip taking my husband's relatives who have knee problems and cannot stand for long. We were looking for something that would allow them to sit for a while but when we researched the internet the first thing we found was walking sticks with small chairs but my father in law would rather have pain than use what looks like a cane. .I found these little stools. They're only about the height of a chair, but definitely compact enough to fit in my backpack (or you can carry them around with a small strap) and they can take a beating. We ordered one and when it arrived I opened it up and my husband sat on it. It was easy to open (just pull the tack) and felt pretty solid. As an added bonus, the seller contacted me the next day to confirm I had received the package and everything was fine.
