Review on Putco 12002 Luminix High Power LED Fog Lamps: Enhance Visibility with H16 Harness, 1 Pair by Sammy Suratno

I installed these Putco LED fog lights on my 2015 Chevy 2500 HD. They have quality construction and very bright LEDs. I have no history to know the longevity of LED bulbs, but I don't know that there will be long life issues. Putco's instructions for removing the original fog light are very poor. The instructions state that you should use a Phillips screwdriver to pry out the mounting pins. This is mostly a stupid statement. After some research I found that a very easy way to remove the bulb assembly is to clamp the two locking tabs on each black mounting nut and pry the mounting nut out (towards the front of the vehicle). Do this for each of the three mounting nuts. . Very easy! When I did that, I pulled out the old lightbulb in about 10 seconds. The biggest problem with using Putco's instructions is that people will find it awkward to press down on the screwdriver to pop out the pin. In fact, many expect one day someone will break one of the nuts using this method. The nuts should be reused on the Putco mount.
