Perfect backpack for most

I first had the Osprey Atmos 65, the Osprey Escapist 25 and now the Osprey Cinch. I got the Cinch a step below my Escapist because I found it was too big for what I needed for day hiking or skiing. Each set has its own specific use and I love them all equally (okay ok I'm not a fan anymore because of Osprey). Below I go into the pros and cons of the RCA, based on my own opinion of course. Pros: Large pocket design makes it feel much larger than 15 liters. You can put a lot in there! The smaller pocket is a lot deeper than I thought (as shown in the picture I posted). The spring system is very easy to work with. I've seen several reviews from people complaining that it's difficult to open. But I assure you, all you have to do is pull the plastic tab outwards and the entire bag opens easily. Chain loops allow you to attach anything you want to the bag. I was a little worried about the durability of the hinges, but they seem a lot stronger than they appear. I attached extra straps to my backpack that would allow me to attach a small chair or something. That sweet sweet guarantee. I can not forget it. Cons: Such minimal straps don't allow you to pack a ton of weight before the backpack becomes uncomfortable. I don't see that as a disadvantage, because that's the nature of such a small and light backpack. If you're looking to add more weight, you should probably get a pack that looks more like the Talon. Rain collects on the top of the pack where the folds of the spring system form. Before you see it's a deal breaker, water doesn't get into the strap hole because it's closed by a small valve and higher than where a small amount of water collects. In addition, the material is quite water-repellent. No side pockets for a water bottle. I put my hydration bladder in my pocket, so the lack of side pockets isn't a problem for me. My bottom line is what is it worth. If you like a backpack with lots of pockets or places to organize your stuff, or if you think you can pack tons of weight in a hiking backpack, this backpack may not be for you. In that case, you can try Osprey Talon. If you are looking for a basic backpack that prioritizes an excellent space to weight ratio and you typically want a lighter backpack, this is the perfect backpack for you. Hope this helped!
