BEEFY! Durable and strong! I have several tripods, many from Neewer. This is a great tripod with a lot of features. I bought two of these models specifically for use with my Slider Rig (4ft long) and for use with a gimbal mount for my 600mm telephoto lens. Both situations involve heavier equipment. Everything that is required of a strong and very durable tripod is included in this device. With the telescoping POD center there is no need to use ballast equipment.
