That's how I imagine it. Sturdy enough for my old Mac book (it's quite heavy). There is no wobble. Durable detail. But I had to give 1 star because one of the screw holes wasn't done right. So the screw would not turn. After many attempts, I used it at an angle. I can't see him, so he doesn't bother me. But the screw was an important part of everything, looking up and not collapsing. If I can't get the screw in, I'd have to try to fix it myself. And that's not what I expect when I buy a new item.
