great for elegant occasions
I bought this because I didn't want to wear my plastic bracelet to my 50th wedding anniversary but I did want to wear my watch. That helped. What's really nice is that the bar is semi-adjustable - you can remove the link(s) if it's too big. I ended up taking 2 out and they fit perfectly - didn't slip on my wrist. Removing links is also very easy - just click. I was very happy about the price.
