Acceptable, works as advertised

Fits 2007 Silverado Crew Cab great. No problems with the installation, simply press the receivers together a little and the light bulbs fit easily into the receivers. 41mm is also possible, I'm 100% sure. They are narrow in length but ok, 1mm shorter would be perfect too. I bought them and another brand that had radiators. I'm not sure if the heat sink on these lamps is that useful. Ordinary lightbulbs don't have them and they get hot enough to form bubbles. I doubt heatsinks are really necessary, it's more of a marketing tool. Now make no mistake, LED bulbs get hot. I pulled one out after a few minutes to replace with another kind to test and it felt warm to the touch, although it didn't burn me. In my opinion, they'll probably be colder than regular incandescent bulbs, but they still generate heat. I don't think it matters with or without a heatsink. They don't appear to be much brighter than the standard Chevy headlights. The color of the light is definitely whiter, closer to pure white, than the yellow/orange color of the stock bulbs. That's a plus I think as it can create the illusion of more light which is good too. They dim like conventional light bulbs. However, they do flicker for a split second at the end of the fade and then go out completely. Not really a problem as far as I can tell. Other LED bulbs do this too, so it's not their fault. Besides, I don't notice. Four stars based on perceived brightness. I have another 10-pack of twelve 4014 LEDs with heatsinks (they have six 5050 LEDs without heatsinks) from another manufacturer and they both performed about the same. I then installed two of this package on one dome and two of the other package on another dome. Time will tell which is better I guess. At the moment they seem to be more profitable due to the quantity. Just take a look. I haven't checked all the bulbs in the pack. But the first two I tried worked well, so I have no reason to suspect a high bounce rate. They're cheap anyway, so I think even with a 50% failure everything will be fine.
