Used as an outdoor sound system for synchronized Halloween and Christmas light shows. "Mono" sound was introduced with stereo FM transmission. He was struggling so he looked for a replacement. I was hoping for Bluetooth connections but my output device didn't recognize them so they were hardwired. I think they only recognize tablets, phones etc etc as I could connect a tablet and phone but not a computer running a show with built in bluetooth. Keep this in mind for your application. The sound quality is very good for something in this price range and the ability to mount it on an external bar was also a plus. The stereo separation was perfect and nothing to complain about, I doubt such a small setup would sound as good as this. Of course, if you're an audiophile looking for $1000 sound you won't be happy, but if you're looking for good outdoor sound that doesn't push too hard, or like the app I used these on, you'll have Don't be disappointed if you won. .
