Review on Protect Your IPhone 11 Pro With LifeProof FRE SERIES Waterproof Case In BLACK by Kimberly Elliott

I work in construction, so obviously I need a case that can withstand abuse. I like the thin profile of Lifeproof cases versus their competitor, and I also like that it’s not a plastic / rubberized case, as they don’t survive the harsh chemicals I use on a daily basis. I’ve used Lifeproof cases on previous phones, but this one missed the mark, but not because of the screen protector (I always pop out the plastic screen protectors that come on these things).This issue is much different, and it’s with the camera. Lifeproof uses a thin plastic sheet to place over the camera lenses. The problem is, when they start to scratch, pictures become blurry and have a very odd diffused lighting look, much like soap operas from the 80s and 90s. To confirm the issue, I took the phone out of the case and snapped a few pictures. It’s like a night and day difference.One of the primary reasons for getting an iPhone 11 Pro is for the camera (actually 3 of them).I’ve never really had issues before with this, but it’s definitely worth mentioning.I will say, you can pop out the camera protector, but be warned that there is a HUGE gap between the phone and the cutout for the cameras. You’ll note that there’s actually a rather thick piece of foam to align the camera. The phone doesn’t rattle around without the foam, but it hides the fact that the case camera cutout (the big square) doesn’t align with the phone camera (I would assume this is by design). I’m actually going to drill out the holes where the cameras go in the plastic / foam insert. The sad part is, I shouldn’t have to.It should also be noted that I’ve only had this case for a month, and the camera protector is scratched beyond belief. I don’t drop my phone, or leave it exposed to abrasive materials. I actually keep it on a belt clip.I’m not necessarily sure I’ll continue to purchase Lifeproof cases. One should not have to pop out the screen protector or the camera protector on an $80 case because it scratches so easily, or leaves huge bubbles or color changes.
