I have an old design and prefer this revised model. It seems a little longer so doesn't fit my iPad mini 2 that well. This makes it difficult to use the silicone button that covers the power button, which frustrates my 5 year old when trying to turn on the tablet . Also, there's no longer any silicone covering the volume buttons. The large gap in the guard can be problematic if you spill something and get your fingers under the volume knob. I prefer the earlier design. However, this is a great baby bag and the stand is very handy and functional!
