This is perfect for our situation. We needed something durable that could be easily placed, moved and replaced without losing its integrity or showing signs of wear and tear. Upon purchase I was concerned about whether the suction cups would hold and whether the material of the hammock would easily detach from hair etc. After receiving and placing the item I saw how strong the overall frame, hammock and suction cups were. This was clearly designed by my husband who also has cats. The wire that attaches it to the window is strong and thick. It seems to stand the test of time against my cat teeth. I have 3 cats under a year old and a two year old cat. Lots of energy and lots of chewing. I immediately felt comfortable that their fangs would not damage the structure. I am extremely picky about the safety of my cats and leaving them unattended. I am comfortable with this window seat and very happy with my purchase.
