Review on πŸŽ’ Rivacase Laptop Tablet Backpack for Travel by Sima Jensen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good but isn't entirely waterproof and definitely not for petite people.

I've been using this backpack as my main work bag for almost six months now and my verdict is something like "you get what you pay for". The shoulder straps are widely spaced and there is no chest strap to keep them tighter together so this bag can get uncomfortable pretty quickly (it ends up sitting on the outside of my shoulders which feels/looks uncomfortable and can be painful under heavy loads). If you're on the smaller side, don't do it! The straps don't hold up either. Mine was meant to be as snug as possible, but I've had to tighten the straps every time I put on a bag, and often in the middle of my walk to/from the office, because the nylon is slow to slide through the clips. First of all, I don't think the bag is really waterproof. I live in a very rainy city and recently wore this in moderate rain (more than splashes but no flooding). When I got to the office I checked the inside to see how things were and was surprised to find that the lining under the top of the bag was damp. Far from dripping but wet enough that I now use an umbrella to cover the top of my bag so I don't risk ruining my laptop or other contents of the bag. Looks beautiful? And the organization and internal construction of the backpack is great for my purposes. Unfortunately I will probably have to replace it with another bag that is more comfortable to carry and really protects the contents from the rain.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Some bugs
