There must be two different factories making these sheets because reviews fall into two categories: either soft as cotton candy or rough as sandpaper. Unfortunately, my sheets came from the last factory. Even after washing, the fabric is extremely coarse and surprisingly thin. The print on my mattress is perfectly crisp and readable through the fabric. The sheets are the most surprising to the touch as they feel more like burlap or wool than other linen sheets I've had over the years. Very scratchy and annoying. They're obviously making a comeback because not only are they gross as hell, but the pillowcases are 2 inches smaller! Instructions if you remember it's 3D) I'm very frustrated that I have to write a bad review for something but buying these sheets is like gambling.
