I've run Category 6 wiring throughout the house and Category 5e wiring along baseboards and behind appliances through invisible wiring in subfloors and walls replaced wherever I could, I connected Category 6 Keystone connectors to Keystone wall plates, but at one point I had to run cables both in and out of the wall. This wall panel was perfect for this application. The panel fits easily into the hole I cut following the template provided. When the screws are tightened, the panel is firmly attached to the wall. This is not visible in the product image, but the back of the plate is curved to route cables. If you mount it vertically, the cables will enter from the left or right, if you mount it horizontally, they will enter from the top or bottom. The available space for cables is quite large. For my application this plate worked great - no complaints. Oven I installed although I didn't think to take a picture until I put the furniture in front of it. I didn't do this because I wanted to hide the panel, but because there were cables coming out of the basement. This plate also cuts a fine figure outdoors. highlighted.
