Because I am a software engineer and I use Linux, it was essential that all of the hardware in my laptop be compatible with the most recent version of the kernel. I purchased a nice laptop. What I mean to say is that everything functions properly with the exception of adjusting the backlight on the keyboard; however, because this is useless until the community develops a driver for it, I will just disable it for the time being. Regarding video games, I would recommend DooM Eternal (which runs at 130-140 frames per second) and Under the Proton on Ultra Cyberpunk (which runs at 55-60 frames per second). Regarding the overarching impression received, the configuration is tastefully stylish, the exhaust is located on the left side where it does not scorch the user's palm while using the mouse, and the charging connector is also located on the left. Solid plastic, professionally put together, it doesn't creak anywhere, it doesn't grumble, it looks great, they said here about the fact that it gets dirty easily, well, somehow you don't need pasties for a laptop, and everything will be good. About the internals - on the MSI website, the specification claims that the maximum RAM is 64 GB, but the kernel writes to me that it can only support up to 32 GB. I accept that under Windows it will start at 64 GB, but I plan to pack 32 of this because it is more than enough for comfortable work and gaming. Regarding the battery, I was only able to get 2.5 hours of use out of it when the screen backlight was set to 70% and the 3060 was disabled; nonetheless, I wasn't surprised by this result because the laptop is still intended for gaming. In conclusion, the deal was fairly fair considering the price, and I am content with the acquisition. firewood 470 for 3060, on demand mode functions correctly, there are no issues, and everything was installed successfully out of the box (52022.0-25-generic #26-Ubuntu).
