This is a good size for my fried foods that I used to just pop in the bowl and the steam in the bowl eventually softens the crispiness of my potato balls or potato fries. This GET basket is great with a piece of paper/towel underneath and my fried food stays crisp longer and looks very pretty in the basket. It's a good size for a hamburger and fries, just enough fries for my 2 kids depending on how much they eat, or a basket of fries to share. The metal feels very strong and the basket is solid and attractive. I've had no problems with these in the dishwasher and am considering getting a few more for custom serving bowls.
