I like these. Pretty good and bright. can be a bit brighter if you run them from a higher voltage power supply. eg 5.25V or 5.5V from a dodgy USB power bank with higher USB voltage from a perfect 5.0V power bank with no voltage drop under load. two of them consume about 260 mA at maximum brightness and one of them consumes 100 to 130 mA. maybe a little more, depending on how high the USB voltage is. Power off function Very useful for my computer since my computer sits on my desk with USB ports right above my keyboard. This allows me to illuminate the keyboard nicely. Also works great with a USB wall adapter as a night light. (I have a 3 pin USB charger hub so I can connect 3 of these at once for maximum brightness!) The only problem is they are VERY tight on the USB port. This way you can gently shave the end off with sandpaper if it's too narrow to fit some of the USB sockets. Don't just stick them in. If you always run them at maximum brightness, they can get very hot. depending on the ambient temperature in the room. So I would touch them to turn them off for a minute before charging the brightness if they were on in a hot room for a very long time. I'm sure the LEDs are fine. They appear to be neatly soldered and well finished. I always use cool white as I live in a hot climate. makes the room cooler.
