This rug is worth every penny. It might be a bit pricey at $60 but you really do get what you paid for. I have the enhanced version, which is absolutely massive. It accommodates a full-size keyboard and mouse with enough room. The carpet is made of pleasantly soft material with colored lighting on the sides. My biggest skepticism was that the filaments holding the chroma lighting would be weak, but they were strong and held the lighting firmly to the pad. If you read reviews that say the mat doesn't lay flat, please rate it. The instructions on the packaging clearly state that you need to give the seal some time. to allow it to settle and conform to a flat surface (supplied rolled up in a cardboard tube to avoid wrinkles). Mine started out with a few small spots where it wouldn't lie down, but after a day of sitting they were gone.
