Bought this for my dog who is 12.5 years old and gets up in the middle of the night panting, getting out of bed and lying down. hard but cold tiled floor. I like that it's definitely cool to the touch, good quality and easy to clean. In fact, I'll probably be buying more for the winter, but we're using cool sheets on most of his dog beds for now. It's easier to clean just what I put on the bed each week than the whole bed. Now I can't tell if my dog likes it or not. He's still standing and his pants, and I've even tried a fan on him. I guess it's just that old dog days. However, he loves to crumple it up and use it as a pillow or roll, which is darn cute and looks comfy, so I think he loves it. If your dog is younger and you live somewhere warm I think this will work great.
