I had cataract surgery a few years ago. With implant lenses I'm stuck at infinity. I had outrageously expensive multi-optimal glasses made by an optician because I need different dioptres to look at a computer, to read and, for example, to see a smartphone screen up close. (Trifocal lenses, even with all the expensive lenses) This is a great replacement for my old, scratched, broken, missing nasal cannula that I thought I needed to replace for over $350. I am using new as I write this. I can clearly see my 23-inch computer screen and my smartphone, which is about 12 inches. I ordered +2.50 which is +1.25 at the top of the lens. A little "floating" like most progressive lenses, no eyeball headaches. I just ordered another pair a few minutes ago. They come with a nice zippered hard case and a silk cleaning cloth. The glasses have flexible temples and feel well made. To do what I did: Check what computer readers you have NOW, I have +1.25. Then buy the double power reader and it should work as the diopter number is 50% of the nominal power at the top of the lens. For example a pair would be +2.50 on the bottom and 2.50 divided by two for 1.25 on the Top intermediate performance in the intermediate zone.
