Review on 🚿 Tidee Tubb Splash Guards, Ultra Clear: Keeping Your Bathroom Dry and Mess-Free by Mac Owen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not suitable for all baths and not of high quality

They are larger than they look so be sure to measure. If the top of the bathtub is too narrow, the width will not be enough to install it with the (very) pointed end hanging into the bathtub. This is a very sharp hard plastic that could injure a child. They're made fairly cheaply and (obviously) without a second thought. That said, the manufacturer doesn't waste time checking that all very sharp edges are smoothed out so that the ends, and most importantly the landing surfaces, are perfectly flat. There is a seam on both *flat* sides where the two pieces appear to have been sewn together during production. This seam has sharp, imperfect edges and nicks, mainly along the bottom edge of both pieces. These deficiencies also prevent full-surface contact. Your walls/tub may actually be almost square, it's these imperfections that cause gaps on either side. The glue seems fresh and of decent quality. ** Tip for those with fairly large bathtubs and a perfectly square tub and wall; Use 400 grit sandpaper to wet sand the imperfections on the two flat sides. Then sand some more with 800 grit sandpaper and finally with 1500-2000 grit to get the edge clean again. Now it should be almost perfectly smooth and transparent. Sanding the edges should also help the glue stick stick better. Much luck!
