Review on ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Craig Frames FM74DKW 16x20-Inch Picture Frame, Sleek Dark Brown Finish, 2-Inch Wide by Mazie Laporte

Looks great. decent price. Good equipment. Cheap, bad substrate materials.

It looks VERY nice from the front - nice. The frame itself makes a well-made impression. Instead of breaking glass, a piece of acrylic is used. Privilege! Beautiful hanging hardware comes with instructions. Disadvantage: The background is cheap and the pins that are supposed to hold the picture in the frame are too small. I put the matte piece in a frame and it fits, but a double matte painting/artwork will most likely not fit unless a backing was used. In contrast, I just bought a frame at a popular craft store for about the same price. It was also a very nice frame, but it had a good quality substrate, including wood fiber (no cardboard), and the hardwood that held the pictures was rotatable. [But it had sawtooth hangers, which I don't like.] All in all, this looks great for my own wall and just a rug, and worked well. I wouldn't give a framed gift in it though, as it uses cheap backing materials that aren't covered with some sort of framed paper to hide it. FYI: The packaging was great, but it wasn't burdensomely free!
