One night I was searching the internet for a pattern of an animal blanket that I saw one day. In doing so, I came across a pattern that is in this book. I liked it and when I discovered that this book was the source I did something completely out of character and ordered it straight away. When it arrived and I started turning the pages I was thrilled to see that I already had the fabric that so many blankets are made from! While some quilters buy their fabric after they have a pattern, I'm a quilter who buys special fabric blanks and then holds them until the right pattern comes up. I have shelves full of books and none of them have captivated me like this one. Sandy Turner is amazing and it's hard to believe this is her first book! It contains patterns for the next four or five quilts I'm going to make (all in a row), starting with the quilt.
