Review on πŸ‘‘ Comfort and Style: Teva Women's Verra Sandal for a Perfect Summer by Gopal Baltimore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very pretty but sacrificing some comfort

These sandals have a few minor flaws but the ratio of attractiveness to comfort was high. I kept pacing, debating whether or not to return them, but my good looks didn't let me put them back in the box. The delicate stripe of dusty lavender and pink plaid on the toes makes me smile. I have wide feet and wide shoes make my feet look wider. They don't flatter my foot and do flatter it. Okay, now the cons of the sandal: 1. The back of the heel sits low and feels like it might slide out, but it doesn't. The strap through the bodice is high and the back is not adjustable. This helps the back of the heel stay in place and elongates the foot, making it look thinner. But I have to open it to the maximum so it doesn't stick out.3. I usually wear 8.5 watts and that was 9 watts. The sole was wide enough, but the top two straps barely covered my width needs at the widest strap positions. I know I won't be able to wear them if my swelling breaks out, there just won't be room.4. The sole is too soft and flexes too much on my 200+ pound frame. Would probably be good for someone under 190lbs 5. Textured rubber outsole and sometimes my feet get sweaty. The light texture keeps my feet from feeling hot, but I doubt I'll wear them on very hot days.
