Review on KES Natural Marble Toilet Paper Holder Stand with Modern Marble Base, SUS304 Stainless Steel Brushed Finish – BPH284S1-2 by Tyler Markham

Great value for money but with a few quirks (see details). Recommended

KES Gold toilet roll holder with a modern white marble base (SUS304, stainless steel brushed brass finish, BPH284S1-BZ) supplied in an incredibly small box. A triumph of packaging efficiency, the stand arrived in three parts with accessories in a bag. The brass part of the stand consists of two parts that can be screwed together without tools. This assembly is then secured to the marble base with a machine screw and washer using the supplied hex wrench. Assembly takes about 90 seconds. I have not found any significant defects in workmanship, finish or materials on the marble or metal. The stand is very nice for its price. But I have a few notes: 1. The marble base is quite light. I'm sure this was done in the interest of saving on materials and shipping costs, but the 3lb base isn't very tip-resistant. Solution? Spend more and take something heavier. However, for me the look suits the decor and I prefer not to spend extra money on this part of the room2. dull bronze is yellower than gold. It doesn't matter, and there's no one-size-fits-all shade for bronze, but it's worth noting if you're trying to match the finish in your bathroom. The vertical part of the stand has a seam line where the two parts are bolted together. It's barely noticeable, but some people are very sensitive to such things. Again, the solution (if it bothers you) is to spend more.4. The last cost-cutting step is that the surface does not have an oleophobic coating, so fingerprints are visible. For the price, I think the KES is a pretty decent toilet roll holder for your mid-century modern decor. While it has the issues mentioned above, it's a huge price point at under $30. recommended
