I'm SUPER picky about my hair. I'm picky about who cuts it and what I put in it. The hair product is not universal. I have pretty thick hair. Not rough, just very thick and straight. (I'm not a model but I just wanted to show my hair type, so if you have a different or the same hair type you know what to do). It works VERY well with my hair type! If it loses its hold over time (and any product will cause factors like moisture and such), just spritz a little water and reshape (NOTE: don't use a lot of water or you'll lose the matte look and it will look more like the hell out, no lipstick.
