This seems like pretty good quality face paint to me. You can use basically any kind of paint brush with it (and I do recommend smaller ones for finer details). The colors are bright; the metallics are nice and shimmery. It is oily, so it *will* smudge because it doesn't ever actually fully dry, but putting some powder on top helps with that. It washes almost completely off with soap, water, and some scrubbing -- only a few of the colors stain and not too badly and it goes away fairly quickly. Mine arrive with like a thin layer of clear oil all on the bottom of the palate for some reason.
