Please note this is no ordinary volcanic pumice stone. It has sharp little pieces. I suppose they're probably most effective on severely calloused feet, but be aware not to hit bony parts like ankles and toes or you'll bleed. And crying. It did a good job on the bottom of my clumsy middle-aged feet, but I find it dangerous to work on those parts like ankles or toes. I never want to unfairly disparage anyone's product, but I just want to warn you.
