At first I was surprised by the material which is a sheer stretchy blend similar to thin spandex. I bought a blue pair with white dots. The dots are painted onto the fabric rather than being part of it, creating a raised, uneven feel. I was looking for light summer pajamas, but they are not suitable for that either. Although they are thin the fabric is not as breathable as I was hoping. They retain heat and will likely perform better as the temperature drops. The stitching seems to need reinforcement in a few places and the holes around the sync cord are just gross holes through which I can see the elastic waist belt. The strip itself also appears to be thin. I'm concerned these pants won't even hold up in the wash and will probably toss them in a mesh garment bag so they don't get ripped. The bottom line is I have lace panties that are more durable than these. I wouldn't have bought them if I saw them in a store. On the plus side, the 2x fits my waist size 18/20 perfectly.
