Barely noticeable smell. If I didn't know what the smell was supposed to be I wouldn't recognize it. Tampons are spicy and probably the best for makeup. The box is very durable. Tampons aren't bad, but there's absolutely nothing "full" in them. I bought another US organic brand in a small box and the tampons are more luxurious, comfortable and three times the price.
