I must preface this review by stating that I am not a hiking expert and have only recently started on hikes that require more equipment so I chose this wonderful product. I searched the internet for a good backpack, didn't even think of the hydration pack option, just a basic backpack. While I was still researching, I was contacted to write reviews in exchange for the Citro 30 H2O. I jumped at the chance and now I have a better backpack than I thought! The idea of having an extra hydration pack is a wonderful bonus! Water bottles can cause a variety of issues when hiking, biking, or any other activity, so hands-free hydration is better than I thought! The drinking system is easy to use, easy to clean and holds a lot of water. All this And it's not uncomfortable! What bothered me the most was the number of straps in this backpack (although I understand they are for comfort, I've never encountered this). The straps on this backpack are perfectly positioned, making the entire load feel lighter. The waist straps are adjustable and have little pockets on the belt to hold an extra length of belt or some small items - to me that's a REALLY cool feature. This backpack is MUCH more than just a hydration device! It has 10 pockets of different sizes including one for water. There are small pockets, there are many easy access pockets and there are a few hidden pockets. The only thing I would like to point out as a difference, not necessarily a bad one in this case, is that the blue is much darker than a human's. what it shows on my computer screen. The blue color is very pretty :) Overall, I'm very happy with this product! If you're new to mountaineering and unsure about adding an element of hydration, I say go for it! This is a great product and I don't hesitate to use it every time I go camping.
