My mother first ordered these glasses from one of the many catalogs that she receives in the mail. I think it costs €9.95 plus shipping. She was critical of whether they would be, in her words, "worth the effort," but at age 95 regular reading glasses were no longer helping, so she decided it was worth the risk. the right magnification to solve her mysteries and when she's happy, so am I. The downside of these glasses is that they are plastic and thin. the habit of taking off the glasses by grabbing the corner loop (like almost all people in the world), the earpiece breaks off from the main body, it's easy to put them back on, moreover, I taught my mother to always hold them on the main body. By the way, she broke the earpiece on the original pair and we had to glue it back to Gorilla. The main reason she wanted two more pairs was so she didn't have to carry a pair around. Also, the original pair with the broken wing wouldn't fit in her purse. 3 pairs and very happy. You might think that with the caveats mentioned, I wouldn't give these glasses 5 stars. If I had to rate the original glasses, which cost $9.95 plus shipping, I would give it a 4 (or even a 3 if shipping was high). But for a pair for $6.99 or 2 for $10.99 I'll give them 5 stars (since I have a prime I don't know what the shipping will be for them so maybe it will be 4 if you have to pay for delivery). They do the job as advertised and when you need them like my mom they are great.
